During mid-July and early August 2010 Keith Murray experienced a creative rush when
he wrote poems every day. Keith regards this as a new phase in his poetry. Scales
contains a selection of poems from this period. Keith will also talk about the creative
process and how to identify the signs when a poem starts to form in the mind to
the finished work.

Keith Murray's recent chapbooks include The Camel's Back (Koo Press),
The Babel Postman (Malfranteaux Concepts) and Kell (Malfranteaux Concepts).
Recent poems have appeared in The Herald (Glasgow) and in Pushing Out the
Boat. He is proud to be a member of Aberdeen Writers' Circle, Spring Tides
Poetry Group, and Poetry Aberdeen.
