Join Lemon Tree Writers and friends for an evening of stories, music and dance.
Poetry set to steps, magic melodies to enchant, dance to dazzle and a symphony of
stories. A celebration of culture that will alternately entertain, bewitch, challenge
and soothe your mind, in a non-stop journey to the heart of the creative spirit.
The grand finale to this year's New Words festival, Poetry n Motion includes
dance from Citymoves groups Fusion led by Katie Milroy and Moving Ages
led by Ruth Kent, monologues, poems and stories from Lemon Tree Writers, poetry,
music and dance collaborations from the Blue Salt Collective with Mhairi Allan,
and local musicians including Morag Skene, Tom Dailly and The Exile of Elgin.
An arts event not to be missed, there is something for all in this collage of cultural
talent.
North East Writers and its partner organisations undertake to produce
all events in the New Words festival as advertised, but we can accept no liability
for details that are changed due to circumstances beyond our control.
